Well we can’t offer magical superhero help, unfortunately, but I (MG) am back to offering private consulting! (On a limited basis, subject to time constraints.)

My experience is primarily in the biotech industry, but as you’ll know if you’re a regular Zattatat reader, many things such as yield, capacity, or scheduling are technology-independent.

Ps. For consulting projects, I generally don’t use cartoons, and the technologies don’t have to be simple like the ones we use on the blog (though they can be!)

The purposes of using cartoon characters and simple examples on the blog are

  1. It’s a blog. Therefore, it’s intended for light reading and general interest, not for highly specific and super-in-depth information.
  2. I use simple examples (like baking and woodworking) so that readers can instantly grasp the main point of a given article rather than getting bogged down in trying to follow a complex manufacturing process that they aren’t personally familiar with. And
  3. … breaking the 4th wall a little here, but another big reason I don’t usually talk about real, specific examples on the blog is Non-Disclosure Agreements. Most startups understandably want them, particularly when there’s unpatented technology. I’ll be happy to sign yours, and you’ll be happy to know that I take confidentiality seriously 🙂
