Meet the Crew!

Welcome!  We here at Process Cat are unveiling a NEW universe of characters, a fun new art style, and a fresh set of interesting backstories (don’t worry, our fun and knowledgeable manufacturing advice is going precisely nowhere!)  Before we dive into the (semi-) serious advice that we’re known for, let’s meet the new crew!

Princess Capybara

Princess Capybara

Princess Capybara, only in her 30s, is already a serial entrepreneur! A few years ago she and some of her grad school classmates launched a biotech startup.  They got proof of concept, secured some patents, and cashed out by selling to a large conglomerate.  It was “the dream” officially, but honestly, it was stressful and unfulfilling.

Now that she’s got some financial security, Princess C. has decided to pursue something a little more fulfilling.  Specifically? Molding items out of concrete in her garage!  She really enjoys the creative freedom and the fact that she doesn’t have to meet so many regulatory requirements.

Gary
Gary

Gary

Gary’s an accountant in his 40s. He likes the security of accounting but his real passion is baking. (Cookies, in particular!) He started a side business selling his cookies through the mail and he’s looking to take it full-time in the next few years.

Being a practical guy, he doesn’t want to take a big risk until he’s sure that he’ll be able to make a decent living (without insane burnout) in the baking industry.

Rhonda
Rhonda

Rhonda

Rhonda, at 53, was offered early retirement from her job as an Operating Room Nurse – and she decided to take it!  She spent a little time traveling but recently has gotten into woodworking. She started selling her crafts at fairs and online and has been doing pretty well! Now she’s looking at how to scale her business.

Process Cat

Process Cat started his career as a manufacturing engineer.  But he realized soon enough that what he really wanted to do was help PEOPLE (not corporations) with their manufacturing problems.  So he decided to become a Manufacturing Superhero.  Yeah, you can just do that in our universe 😉

Now Process Cat helps his friends to run productive, effective, and profitable manufacturing lines.
